2012 Nissan Versa Named Top Safety Pick by IIHS

Nissan North America Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Carolin had this tom say: “Nissan remains committed to the highest levels of safety and innovation, as is reflected in the Nissan Versa Sedan receiving the Top Safety Pick from IIHS. The 2012 Versa provides customers with a remarkable level of value, comfort and security for an MSRP starting under $11,000.”

The 2012 Nissan Versa offers a variety of standard safety equipment including six airbags, brake assist, and ABS. All of the safety improvements on the 2^nd Generation 2012 Nissan Versa garnered attention from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as well. The NHTSA awarded three stars for frontal impacts, four stars for rollover accidents, and four stars for side impacts.
